Consulting and Codesign

Ghepi has knowhow, experience, technical and human resources at his disposal, to support customer in every step of the project.

- Testing every aspects of the project: functional and aesthetics requisites, use conditions, etc.

- Verifying project's suitability, in terms of: correct computation of thickness; veryfing discharging points to avoid buckling and shrinkages ; adequacy materials control for application;

- Replacement design, to replace metallic parts with thermoplastic solutions, for example from aluminium products to using polimers at high performances.

- Codesign activity, improving design knowledge of the customer and a specific knowhow on thermoplastic.

In case of complex design projects, Ghepi can provide the support of simulations Mold Flow consenting a good analytic details and a working simulation of plastic materials.

Design and Prototyping

According to customer requirements, study of die is on 2D or 3D projects, with software applications considered the best, such as Cadkey and ProEngineering.

On request, Ghepi can provide quick prototyping of the product, using differnt materials according to requirements:
- Fotopolimers
- Sands and dusts of metal, wax, ceramics, thermoplastic
- Sheets of thermoadhesive paper
- Wire of wax and thermoplastic

Dies Construction

Dies realisation - whether realised in our structure, or committed to our expert partners - is always under our control and responsibility.

Activities of storage, maintenance, edit or repairing are unrolled in our sructure, in a departement completely fitted.

Technical molding

Molding departement is formed by more than 20 press , with push between 25 and 500 ton. These press are of last generation, controlled by a microprocessor, S.P.C. (Statistic Process Control) with printing able to certify process data.

Machines equipment allow molding of articles with a weight included between 0,5 and 2.000 gr.

Ghepi can resolve any problems concerning molding process, such as: - metallic insert setting
- ultrasonic welding
- post-molding works
- decoration and pad-printing
- assemblies

Food Molding

Molding food - for articles which will be in contact with food - is fitted into a specific area, with systems for monitoring and control temperature and humidity.

Departement is formed by work centers at high technology, provided with:
- press of 100 ton, with microprocessor and S.P.C. control
- automated manipulators
- assembling stations and process optimisation
